I was a Distribution and Marketing Intern at Animate from September to December 2024. I supported the distribution of "And Granny Would Dance", managed film festival submissions, maintained the distribution spreadsheet, monitored news and media, and liaised with exhibitors. I was a Production Assistant for "Statue in the Garden", for which I attended and took notes for production meetings, liaised with artists and crew members, managed the schedule and shot list, and helped create the publicity pack and distribution spreadsheet. I also oversaw Animate's social media, strategising, creating content, producing engagement reports and managing inboxes for their different channels. I assisted with research, writing and other admin tasks for several projects such as the "Animate OPEN" call for experimental animation and online talks including Accelerate sessions and other collaborations.
